Skilo is a London-based electronic artist creating high-energy breakbeat and bass music layered with live instrumentation and a deep-rooted understanding of performance culture.

His musical foundation began with formal study and years playing in bands, developing an instinct for arrangement, dynamics and live energy. That grounding in musicianship would later shape his electronic productions — where programmed precision meets human intensity.

Following his early creative path, Skilo spent time working within the music industry at independent and major labels, gaining insight into the mechanics behind releases, audiences and artistic longevity. He later stepped away to build and run a company in the arts sector — an experience that broadened his perspective on culture, creativity and community.

Now returning to production in his 40s, Skilo isn’t chasing trends. He’s building something deliberate.

His sound lives in the space between breakbeat drive, bass music weight and flashes of drum & bass aggression — dark, heavy and engineered for impact.

Live instrumentation threads through the electronic framework, bringing tension, texture and unpredictability to his sets.

This new chapter is about refinement rather than reinvention. Years of experience — on stage, behind the scenes, and leading creative ventures — converge into a focused sonic identity.

With releases planned and live performances in development, Skilo represents a matured force in UK bass music: heavy, intentional and uncompromising.
